Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Irvine, CA is seeking an Asset Liability Treasury Manager to oversee ALM, model development, and balance sheet strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns.

The role reports to the Assistant Treasurer and requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance/economics, 5+ years in Treasury, and knowledge of ALM processes such as Moody’s OALM and ZMDesk. Hybrid work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in Treasury or related areas within banking.
• Direct knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) strategies and processes.
• Experience with ZMDesk and Moody’s OALM model preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Bank’s ALM practices, including interest rate risk and balance sheet structure.
• Develop and execute ALM strategies, including risk modeling and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure policy compliance and risk appetite alignment.
• Prepare and present reports on NII and EVE model results to senior management.
• Support hedging and liquidity risk management activities and stress testing.
