Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Alloy operator for 2nd/3rd shift to operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems, ensuring timely delivery of metal to casting machines. Starting wage up to $25 with experience, plus a $1000 sign-on. You will monitor temperatures, add hot metal and scrap, take gas readings, and keep systems clean. Full benefits including vacation and holidays, with reviews at 90 days/6 months/1 year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of metal to the casting machines.
• Check temperatures and other gauges for proper working order, adjusting as necessary.
• Add hot metal, ingot, sows, and scrap to furnaces.
• Take alloy gas readings.
• Clean and remove oxidized aluminum from furnaces and launder system.
• Deliver metal to reverbs, holding furnaces, launder and casting machines.
