Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Alloy Furnace Operator for 2nd/3rd shift in Ohio. You will operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of metal to casting machines, monitor temperatures and adjust as needed, and manage loading of hot metal, ingots, sows, and scrap.

Benefits include a $1,000 sign-on and a starting wage up to $25 per hour with experience; shift differentials apply and performance reviews at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of metal to the casting machines.
• Check temperatures and other gauges for proper working order, adjusting as necessary.
• Add hot metal, ingots, sows, and scrap to furnaces.
• Take alloy gas readings.
• Clean and remove oxidized aluminum from furnaces and launder system.
• Deliver metal to reverbs, holding furnaces, launder and casting machines.
