Job summary

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for Cedarburg, WI on the 3rd shift. This permanent, direct-hire role focuses on operating and maintaining industrial melting furnaces, charging materials, skimming metal, and obtaining lab samples to assure alloy quality for die-casting.

The position requires a minimum of two years at prior employers, experience in foundry or heavy manufacturing melt operations, and a 45-minute commuting radius.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2+ years tenure at each previous employer in foundry or heavy manufacturing melt operations.
• Ability to operate furnaces, charge materials, skim impurities, and take lab samples.

Responsibilities

• Operate and charge industrial melting furnaces with ingots and scrap per melt specs.
• Tap furnaces, skim molten metal, and maintain temperature controls.
• Pull and label samples for lab analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and operate material handling equipment.
• Record production data and ensure safety and 5S standards.
