Job summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus in Coppell, TX is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join the Clinical Support team. You will administer allergy tests and injections, assist with in-office procedures, and support front-office tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities include gathering vitals, communicating treatment protocols, recording accurate patient data in the EHR, and coordinating schedules and payments.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to administer subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections.
• Capable of manually taking patient vital signs.
• Maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and public.
• Ability to react calmly in emergencies.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vitals, medical history, and current medications.
• Explain allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients.
• Administer subcutaneous, intradermal, and intramuscular injections.
• Conduct spirometry testing to assess lung function.
• Record patient health information accurately in the EHR.
• Greet and direct patients and visitors.
• Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information.
• Track clinic inventory and resupply.
• Maintain end-of-day reports and logs.
• Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
