Job summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant in Phoenix to support clinical operations in Allergy, Asthma and Sinus care. The role involves patient intake, vitals, allergy testing, injections and front-office tasks to ensure smooth in-office procedures.

Responsibilities include cross-training for front-office duties, coordinating treatment, CT authorizations, and maintaining HIPAA and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with others to exchange information.
• Must be able to administer injections (subcutaneous, intradermal, intramuscular).
• Must be able to manually take patient vital signs.
• Must maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.
• Must react calmly in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vitals, medical history and current medications.
• Explain allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients.
• Administer subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections.
• Conduct spirometry testing to assess lung function.
• Record accurate health information in the EHR.
• Greet and assist patients and visitors; answer incoming calls with accurate information.
• Track clinical inventory and replenishment; complete end-of-day reports.
