Job summary

US Lawns is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Salt Lake City, UT to maintain grounds, buildings, and equipment, ensuring safety and a clean, functional facility.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant maintenance experience across carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and electrical, and must be flexible for on-call work including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
• Three years of progressive and relevant experience.
• Experience in a wide variety of trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical) and the tools associated with them.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers, vendors, and others.
• Able to work independently on projects and as a member of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning for grounds, facility, and equipment following safety procedures.
• Maintains facility systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical according to maintenance schedules.
• Maintains and repairs walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, and doors/locks.
• Stocks maintenance supplies for work areas.
• Ensures work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored.
• Completes any reports or logs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
