Job summary

Land of Lincoln Credit Union seeks a Universal Banker to provide exceptional member service across teller, lending, and new account functions. The role requires accurate transaction handling, active interviewing to identify member needs, and cross-selling products to support the credit union's growth.

The UB will manage cash handling, loans processing, and account maintenance while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months teller or cash handling experience.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience.
• Availability to work during branch hours and at alternate Branch locations if/when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Reflect the credit union's core values in daily activities and represent the credit union.
• Promote credit union products and services based on member needs.
• Maintain knowledge of services, policies, and lending trends; counsel members on rates and cross-sell services.
• Open new share accounts and certificates; assist with IRA and Share Certificate applications.
• Process new account information (checks, signatures, welcome letters, instant issue ATM cards).
• Process Skip-A-Pay requests and assist with account maintenance and corrections.
