Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a sharp, fast-paced editor to drive our live sports mobile alerts in Fort Lauderdale or NYC. You will craft timely, concise notifications and balance editorial integrity with promotional goals for increased app engagement.

You will collaborate with marketing and streaming teams, oversee homepage copy, and help maintain high editorial quality across platforms while working nights and weekends around major sports events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field.
• 2-3 years in sports journalism or digital content creation.
• Strong writing under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of major sports especially football, combat sports, and soccer.

Responsibilities

• Identify and relay emerging news, storylines, and key moments from live sports in real time.
• Draft, edit and deploy mobile push notifications to drive engagement.
• Balance editorial standards with promotional goals using data-driven insights.
• Manage homepage content and assist with copy-editing for quality across platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing and streaming teams on cross-promotional storytelling during peak events.

In this role, you will deliver the voice, speed, and accuracy of our app alerts-balancing key news delivery for sports fans with strategic cross-platform promotion.The position is heavily tied to nights and weekends, working closely with our marketing and streaming distribution teams to maximize live viewership and audience re-engagement. Joining a dedicated content and programming team, you will help make our digital properties stickier through a blend of editorial judgment and data insights.
