WSP is seeking a Vice President, Transportation Director/Local Business Lead (LBL) for the Alaska geography, based in the Anchorage office. As the key strategic leader, you will grow the transportation practice and collaborate with regional and national teams to deliver complex projects for public agencies and contractor clients.

You will drive talent development, foster an inclusive culture, and uphold safety and ethics while expanding WSP’s presence in Alaska’s markets.

Formación

• Requires at least 12 years of experience in the A/E/C industry with a focus in transportation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Planning, Business, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability, persistence, and growth.
• Ability to innovate and rethink client and employee engagement.
• Strong business acumen and process improvement skills.
• Sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking, and multi-disciplinary business development.
• Established client relationships and local industry contacts.
• Commitment to internal and external client service.
• Adherence to WSP Code of Conduct and policies including safety, ethics, harassment, and drug/alcohol policies.

• Provide leadership for the Alaska geography within the Mountain Pacific Region.
• Drive growth in transportation practice and expand market share.
• Represent WSP as the local face at civic and industry events and conferences.
• Collaborate across National Transportation and Infrastructure Business Lines and other WSP lines.
• Foster talent development and an inclusive, diverse work environment.
• Develop local growth, forecast, and business development strategies with district, region, and national leaders.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in all activities.
