You will own transportation strategy, carrier relationships, freight contracts, and depot/dispatch operations, balancing safety, service and cost in a remote, complex network.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible transportation, logistics, depot or supply-chain experience.
• Retail and remote-market experience preferred.
• Experience with vendor negotiations, contracts and service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and optimize a multimodal transportation network supporting ACC stores and PAW.
• Lead depot and warehouse operations, inventory control and safety practices.
• Negotiate freight rates, manage carrier contracts and USPS relations for bypass mail.
• Analyze cost and service performance and drive improvements via technology.
• Collaborate with stores and departments to meet requirements and resolve issues.
• Develop team capability and manage budgets, health and safety compliance.
