Job summary

TEKsystems, Bridgeport, CT, seeks an Installation / Service Technician to install, service and troubleshoot low-voltage security systems in residential and commercial environments. This is a permanent, onsite role based out of Bridgeport with travel to customer locations in a company vehicle.

Responsibilities include installing and servicing CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems, diagnosing issues, and training customers on new systems.

Qualifications

• Prior low-voltage installation and service experience.
• Experience with security systems, alarms, CCTV, and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting and service skills.
• Comfortable working directly with residential and commercial customers.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Low Voltage License required.

Installation / Service Technician Low Voltage & Security Systems

We are looking for an experienced Installation / Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage security systems in both residential and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security and alarm systems


• Install and troubleshoot CCTV / surveillance systems


• Install and service access control systems


• Install and service fire alarm systems


• Diagnose and troubleshoot existing systems and equipment


• Train customers on newly installed systems and make sure they are comfortable using them


• Work closely with sales, technicians, and management to complete projects on schedule


• Travel to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle

Qualifications

• Previous low-voltage installation and service experience


• Experience with security systems, alarms, CCTV, and access control


• Strong troubleshooting and service skills


• Comfortable working directly with residential and commercial customers


• Ability to work independently in the field


• Low Voltage License required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
