Job summary

TEKsystems in Bridgeport, CT seeks an Installation / Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage security systems in both residential and commercial environments. This permanent, onsite role requires experience with CCTV, alarms, access control, and fire alarm systems.

You will travel to client locations in a company vehicle, support project timelines, and train customers on new systems. TEKsystems provides a company vehicle, gas card, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Low-voltage installation and service experience.
• Experience with security systems, alarms, CCTV, and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting and service skills.
• Comfortable working directly with residential and commercial customers.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Low Voltage License required.

Installation / Service Technician Low Voltage & Security Systems

We are looking for an experienced Installation / Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage security systems in both residential and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security and alarm systems
• Install and troubleshoot CCTV / surveillance systems
• Install and service access control systems
• Install and service fire alarm systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot existing systems and equipment
• Train customers on newly installed systems and make sure they are comfortable using them
• Work closely with sales, technicians, and management to complete projects on schedule
• Travel to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle

Qualifications

• Previous low-voltage installation and service experience
• Experience with security systems, alarms, CCTV, and access control
• Strong troubleshooting and service skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
