Job summary

TEKsystems in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Alarm Technician to install, program, test, and service low-voltage alarm systems for commercial facilities, with emphasis on fire alarm installations and related devices like access control and CCTV.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teammates on both new construction and retrofit projects. This is a permanent on-site role based in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• EST or Notifier experience is helpful on the fire side.
• Programming experience would be a plus, not a requirement.
• Intermediate level experience indicated in the job posting.

Description

The Alarm Technician will work collaboratively with team members to install, program, test, repair, and service a wide range of low-voltage alarm systems and equipment. Depending on their skills and experience, the role will focus on either fire alarm installations, including security related devices like access control and cctv.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues in a timely and professional manner
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system documentation
• Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently
• Support both new construction and existing commercial facilities

Project Environment

All projects are commercial, ranging from new construction to upgrades and retrofits in existing buildings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
