Signature Aviation in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Airside Experience Associate to deliver safe, efficient, and guest-focused service in a private aviation setting. You will handle baggage, cargo, and freight, monitor access points, and support ramp operations near aircraft and ground equipment.

The role requires flexibility for night, holiday, and weekend shifts, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum age 18.
• Ability to pass company and airport background checks and drug tests.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to follow directions and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, freight, and cargo and transfer packages between planes or other modes of transportation.
• Operate and drive ground service equipment such as tugs, trucks, conveyors, and other freight handling equipment.
• Conduct identification checks for flight crews, passengers, visitors and vendors entering the terminal and AOA per security procedures.
• Monitor facilities including street side, parking lots, terminal, hangars and AOA.
• Assist Airside Experience Specialists to ensure guests have an exceptional experience (ground power units, potable water, wing walking, chocking, stairs/jetway positioning).
• Stop work for unsafe conditions and report concerns to management.
• Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
• Create records of time worked and services performed.
