Job summary

Avports HVN, Tweed New Haven Airport, is seeking a Specialist, Airport Training & Development to lead training initiatives for the on-site team in New Haven, CT. Under the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee development, delivery, and compliance of employee training programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and three years in training or related fields, with strong facilitation, communication, and project management skills. On-site work and airport credential readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in training, learning and development, safety, regulatory compliance, airport operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate employee training and development programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, cross-training, and annual training plans.
• Develop leadership training covering supervision, coaching, performance management, employee relations, communication, and change management.
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance training for FAA, TSA, OSHA, DOT requirements.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and documentation to support audits and inspections.
• Prepare and analyze training, compliance, certification, and audit-readiness metrics and reports.
