Job summary

Avports is seeking an Administrative HR professional to provide essential support to the Human Resources Manager on-site at Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in New Haven, CT. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR compliance while supporting employee programs and HR processes.

With a minimum high school diploma and 3 years of related experience, preferred candidates have an associate degree and aviation or transportation exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; three years in a related role preferred.
• Associate degree in HR or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in transportation/aviation environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and HR communications.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Support HR questions and escalate complex matters.
