Job summary

Avports is hiring for the HVN - Coordinator, Human Resources and Admin, located on-site at Tweed-New Haven Airport in New Haven, CT. The role supports HR operations, payroll, benefits, and compliance under the Human Resources Manager.

A minimum high school diploma and 3 years of related experience are required; an associate degree is preferred. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, and three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a transportation, aviation, municipal, or other highly regulated environment.
• Associate's degree in a related field is preferred, and equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• HR Administration: coordinate recruitment, onboarding, personnel administration, and employee communications.
• Payroll & HRIS: audits, timekeeping, and HR data accuracy; maintain HRIS records.
• Benefits & Leave: enrollment, changes, open enrollment, leave tracking.
• Compliance & Records: maintain files, training, and airport badging records; support audits.
• Employee Engagement & Training: communications, programs, and meetings.
• Administrative Support: assist HR Manager, coordinate meetings, reports, and projects.
