Job summary

Culmen International is seeking an experienced Airport Screening Operations Manager to lead day-to-day passenger and baggage screening operations at Tupelo, MS. You will supervise STSOs and other supervisors, ensure TSA compliance, and optimize throughput while maintaining security and customer service.

This role demands on-site leadership in a 24/7 airport environment, strong staffing, scheduling, and data-driven performance management, and the ability to respond to incidents and irregular

Qualifications

• Five+ years in aviation security or airport operations.
• Experience supervising large shift-based workforces.
• Ability to work onsite at a 24/7 airport operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily passenger checkpoint and baggage screening operations.
• Manage STSOs and other supervisors across shifts.
• Develop and adjust schedules based on volumes and flights.
• Monitor throughput, wait times, staffing utilization and security effectiveness.
• Coordinate with TSA/FSD and airport stakeholders.
• Implement new TSA screening procedures and directives.
• Identify risks and perform corrective actions.
• Support incident response and surge staffing.
• Develop frontline supervisors and promote accountability.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement.
