Job summary

TDA AGH — Station-Based Safety Manager is responsible for supporting and sustaining a safety culture across stations. The role partners with station management and the Safety team to monitor compliance, coordinate incident reporting, and deliver safety training.

Travel up to 30% to support multiple operations, conduct safety walkthroughs, and drive corrective actions. The position requires a hands-on, proactive safety professional with strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation or similarly regulated environment.
• Basic understanding of FAA, TSA, OSHA safety regulations for airport ground handling.
• Experience with ISAGO standards and certification requirements.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel 30%.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the Safety Management System (SMS) program and ensure day-to-day elements are carried out.
• Monitor station safety compliance with FAA, TSA, OSHA, IATA, and company standards; flag concerns promptly.
• Conduct routine safety walkthroughs, inspections, and risk assessments; document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with incident reporting and investigation support; maintain records in the SMS system.
• Coordinate monthly station safety meetings and LMS-based training; track completion.
• Serve as a visible safety resource for frontline teams and reinforce safe behaviors.
