Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join the ATL Construction Management Partners team on the 6.4 billion Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta project. You will review safety plans, coordinate site safety programs, and ensure contractor compliance.

The role requires a college degree or equivalent, 10 years as a Safety Officer, OSHA 30, and BCSP certification. Day shift with a strong focus on safety leadership and incident investigation.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• 10 years of safety officer experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification.
• BCSP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Review contractors' Safety and Security Plans and Hazardous Communications Manuals submitted by each prime contractor.
• Coordinate contractor site-specific safety programs and monitor compliance during daily construction activities.
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Facilitate reporting, investigation and corrective action for incidents.
• Develop and maintain procedures to observe and verify safety and security activities.
• Maintain retrievable documentation as evidence of safety and security implementation.
• Follow up with contractors to ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Construction Manager on safety requirements and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety inspections with City Risk Manager, ATLNext Safety Manager, and others as required.
• Prepare weekly observatories, deficiencies, and corrective actions reports.
