Dufry Careers at Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to support location management in delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will ensure clean, properly staffed operations and uphold brand standards across book retail categories while coaching hourly associates.

Responsibilities include executing SOPs, merchandising, timekeeping, scheduling, cash handling, inventory control, and staff training to maintain high operational standards and exceptional

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail and/or customer service experience
• Minimum of 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in retail, specialty retail, or customer service environment
• Book retail experience or active reading interest preferred

Responsibilities

• Executes established SOPs during assigned shifts, coaching hourly associates
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing displays
• Reviews and approves timekeeping punches and monitors overtime for compliance
• Assigns tasks and ensures rest breaks and meals per labor regulations
• Escalates performance issues and provides coaching to improve standards
• Operates POS systems and processes transaction voids per cash policies
• Monitors inventory, assists with receiving, reports discrepancies
• Trains staff on brand standards and merchandising
• Executes planogram changes and seasonal displays
• Delivers excellent customer service and engages customers
• Coaches on product knowledge and customer engagement
