Dufry Careers is seeking a Retail Shift Manager at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will coach staff, monitor SOPs, and maintain brand standards while managing shifts, inventory, and cash handling.

The role requires 2+ years in retail or customer service and at least 6 months of supervisory experience. You will work on-site and collaborate with store leadership to optimize performance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Requires minimum of 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in retail, specialty retail, or customer service environment.
• Book retail experience or active reading interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes SOPs during assigned shifts, conducts operational checks, ensures brand standards, and coaches hourly associates.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing displays; monitors equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• Reviews timekeeping punches and monitors overtime to ensure compliance with labor laws and budgets.
• Assigns tasks to associates and ensures mandated breaks in compliance with labor regulations.
• Escalates performance concerns and provides coaching to improve performance and maintain standards.
• Operates POS systems, processes transaction voids, and adheres to cash handling policies.
