Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a part-time Ramp & Customer Service Agent to support guest interactions and below-wing ramp functions at Kalispell, MT. You will assist with baggage, tickets, and boarding, while working outdoors in all weather and maintaining security procedures.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to travel for paid training if needed. Starting wage is $19.37/hr with weekend/holiday availability expected.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license.
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Possibility of paid training with overnight travel.
• US USPS Mail Handling Certification may be required depending on location.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Work outdoors performing below-wing tasks including baggage, cargo handling, and aircraft marshaling.
• Perform boarding and gate duties with guest direction and announcements.
• Process luggage and file claims for damaged, delayed, or pilfered items.
• Load and unload luggage and cargo using conveyors.
• May be assigned additional duties to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
