Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent college credential.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Valid driver’s license and proficiency in English.
• Strong verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy.
• Physical ability to regularly lift or carry up to 50 kilograms and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
• Willingness to work a fixed or rotating shift, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical ability test, and background check (fingerprinting and criminal records review).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to wear required agency‑authorized personal protective equipment (PPE) and to comply with COVID‑19 vaccination requirements where mandated by law.

Responsibilities

• Elevate, load, dump, and deliver luggage, mail, and cargo to and from planes, ensuring on‑time connections by guiding aircraft from gate positions.
• Safeguard cargo, luggage, and mail from harm, loss, and environmental damage.
• Operate floor systems with tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas.
• Repeatedly raise and load baggage onto carts, ensuring each bag reaches its correct destination.
• Operate luggage scanners and computers to route luggage to the passenger’s vacation spot.
• Practice protection‑conscious behaviors in all operational tactics and approaches.
