HMSHost is seeking a General Manager I (GM) at the Miami Airport F&B location. The GM oversees a QSR restaurant or small cluster, ensuring cleanliness, staffing, open operations, and high standards. Responsible for overall success and profitability, with broad discretion in leadership decisions.

Responsibilities include staffing, deployment, training, compliance, financial monitoring, and staff motivation. The role emphasizes employee engagement and brand standards to maximize revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience.
• 5-7 years total restaurant experience recommended.
• Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for some experience.
• Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close restaurant, ensure opening/closing checklists are followed.
• Deploy staff to maximize profitability and manage P&L responsibilities.
• Interview candidates and promote HMSHost as an employer of choice.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance with badging and policies.
• Review financial and operating data to meet unit goals and motivate staff.
