Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Project Manager-Aviation/Airport in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on planning, design, procurement, and overall project delivery, not on-site construction supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management.
• Experience providing high-level program/project management for airport and airfield projects.
• Knowledge of airport operations and aviation facility construction is required.
• Experience serving as an Owner's Representative.
• Experience managing landside or facility-related projects (non-airfield).
• Strong PM with emphasis on planning, design, procurement, and project delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.
• Develop procurement documents as project dictates.
• Participates in procurement selection process.
• Negotiates engineering/architectural/construction contracts and change orders as necessary.
• Leads architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction.
• Oversees reviews for all submittals and coordination with departments.
• Administers meetings, reviews submittals, and shop drawings.
• Manages project reporting and closeout activities.
• Coordinates with owners, officials, contractors, and design team to meet deadlines.
