RS&H is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Aviation to lead multidisciplinary teams on civil and aviation infrastructure projects at our Charlotte or Raleigh, NC offices. You will drive planning, design, and delivery, oversee client relationships, and mentor junior staff while growing our North Carolina Aviation team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience, including 3+ years in project design.
• North Carolina PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience leading aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites in the region.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage a variety of aviation and civil infrastructure projects
• Oversee stormwater, utility infrastructure, and pavement design and assessments
• Manage construction support services, including construction management and inspection
• Lead and coordinate large, multi-disciplinary design teams
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications
• Analyze design alternatives, technical data, cost estimates, and project schedules
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Maintain and grow client relationships with local and national aviation partners
• Support business development, including proposal preparation and client presentations
• Mentor and develop junior team members to promote technical excellence
