Job summary

The Town of Addison seeks a Project Manager to lead airport capital projects from planning through closeout, aligned with the Master Plan and CIP. You will manage design, budgets, funding, and schedules while coordinating with vendors, consultants, and city departments.

You will present data, oversee procurement, and ensure compliance with FAA and local requirements. This exempt role requires strong leadership, communication, and multitasking across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban, Regional, Aviation Planning, Aviation Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Four (4) years of public agency or aviation engineering, planning, architecture, operations, development, construction administration or capital project experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Manager (CM), or Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, design, construction, and closeout of facilities, structures, roadways, runways, and other airport projects as identified in the Airport’s Master Plan and CIP.
• Oversee design/engineering plans, budgets, funding sources, delivery methods and controls for projects; analyze impacts on the master plan and regulatory requirements.
• Present project data and technical information for ongoing and proposed Airport projects.
• Track and analyze schedule, funding, percent complete for ongoing projects.
• Develop preliminary schedule and cost estimates; coordinate approvals.
• Facilitate construction oversight and procurement within Town requirements and schedules.
• Coordinate development of bid specs for RFPs/RFQs/RFIs; negotiate change orders and contracts.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, program managers, engineers, design/construction firms, and agencies.
