Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Project Manager in Dallas, TX to lead planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, and building strong client relationships with airport owners and regulators.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, staffing, and risk management while advancing airfield and landside programs in line with FAA guidelines and industry standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Texas P.E. license is required, or ability to obtain within six months.
• A minimum of 10 years of aviation civil engineering or project management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of aviation infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, utility systems, landside improvements, and other airport development initiatives.
• Assume overall responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, proposal development, quality, risk management, and client satisfaction.
• Develop project execution strategies and oversee the preparation of budgets, staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate internal staff, subconsultants, contractors, and technical specialists to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, client expectations, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the firm at seminars and conferences pertaining to clients and aviation market.
