Job summary

Bond Brother's at the RDU Airport is seeking a skilled prep cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will prepare ingredients, maintain kitchen organization, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will demonstrate excellent knife skills, knowledge of cooking techniques, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a prep cook in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment.
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and specifications
• Use knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
• Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management
