First Meridian Services is seeking a Prep Cook to support the kitchen team by washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients, ensuring everything is ready for service. You will maintain a clean work area and follow strict food safety guidelines in a fast-paced airport environment.

Responsibilities include assisting cooks, stocking stations, and helping with basic cooking tasks while upholding safety standards and a positive team atmosphere.

Responsabilités

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing.
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items following recipes and specifications.
• Portion and package prepared ingredients for use during service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in stocking stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Label and store ingredients properly to minimize waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and blenders safely.
• Assist cooks and chefs with basic cooking and dish assembly.
