Job summary

First Meridian Services is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast-paced airport setting. You will work with a team to ensure quality, timely service and maintain kitchen cleanliness while following safety standards.

Open availability with 8-hour shifts between 3am and 3pm, including weekends. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance and more; training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in providing a positive guest experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a team.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass airport background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Prep food items and portion ingredients for use in cooking.
• Ensure timely cooking and presentation meeting quality standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines for a safe kitchen.
• Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and mixers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient workflow and service.
• Receive and store deliveries using proper storage procedures.
• Assist in cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Respect health and safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
