Job summary

First Meridian Services in Nashville airport environment is seeking a Prep Cook to support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, following safety standards, and assisting with basic cooking tasks.

You will wash, chop, portion ingredients, maintain a clean station, and help with stock and labeling while working in a fast-paced setting. Weekend availability and early hours are required; benefits include health, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 1+ years' experience as a cook/prep cook in a full-service restaurant.
• ServSafe certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing.
• Measure and assemble ingredients following recipes.
• Portion and package prepared ingredients for service.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with station setup, stocking, and inventory communication.
