Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Prep Cook at Coastal Cask DJT International Airport in West Palm Beach. The role is part-time and on-site, with responsibilities including food prep, following recipes, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced dining environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of related cooking experience, ServeSafe certification, and the ability to work unsupervised.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of closely related cooking experience; high-volume or fast casual preferred.
ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state.
Able to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment with guests.

Responsibilities

Food preparation following 100% recipe adherence; following recipes and product directions for seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving items.
Follow production prep list and maintain accurate records; requisition supplies as needed.
Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Wash, slice, and peel items; store prepared food items with proper date labeling.
Maintain cleanliness and safety; comply with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by supervisor.
Report equipment repair needs to management and ensure proper rotation and dating of prepped items.
