Job summary

United Ground Express in North Carolina seeks a Passenger Services Agent to manage check-in, ticketing, and boarding processes. You will use reservation systems to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and collect any applicable fees while maintaining accurate passenger records and on-time departures.

The role involves assisting passengers during disruptions, handling baggage, reading baggage tags, and supporting ramp operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with US work eligibility.
• Able to read/write/speak English fluently.
• comfortable using computers and reservation systems.
• Willing to work any shift, including nights and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greeting passengers and delivering a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
• Ensure passenger information is accurate and flights depart on time.
• Assist with boarding and respond to interruptions per policy.
• May assist in Baggage Service Office handling baggage location and questions.
• Read baggage tags and cargo labels and prepare aircraft for next flight.
• Operate radios to communicate with crew and colleagues.
• Comply with United and FAA regulations and safety policies.
• Ability to lift/move baggage up to 70 lbs and push/pull carts.
