Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Passenger Service Supervisor to oversee the airport passenger service environment, including check-in, ticketing, baggage handling and gate operations.

The role requires one year of passenger service or airport operations experience and at least one year of lead or supervisory experience; strong English, communication and computer skills are essential. You will promote safety and professionalism while supporting passengers with a calm, helpful demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of passenger service, hospitality, or airport operations experience.
• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; strong communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate.
• Computer skills required to operate computer-based systems.
• Positive, upbeat personality; able to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and any other passenger issues.
• Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers' documents prior to boarding aircraft.
• Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags.
• Ensure that all work areas are organized and functional (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage).
• Other duties in the gate area include making announcements, checking baggage, and assigning seats.
• Perform other duties as requested
