Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Passenger Service Supervisor to oversee the fast-paced airport passenger service environment, including ticketing, check-in processing, luggage claim handling, and passenger assistance.

You will manage staff scheduling, train and develop teams, ensure compliance with health, safety, security and government requirements, and execute duties with a focus on accurate documentation and courteous service to travelers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Must be able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortably move/lift luggage up to 70 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods at ticket counter and gate check-in areas.
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain customs seal.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee passenger service environment including ticketing, check-in processing, luggage handling and passenger assistance.
• Schedule staff, lead and develop the team, and ensure accountability.
• Complete check-in procedures, reservations, ticketing, seat assignments, and announcements.
• Assist customers with special needs and unaccompanied minors.
• Read and interpret loading instructions, weight balance documents and routing tags.
• Ensure health, safety, security and government compliance in operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
