Job summary

TREGO DUGAN AVIATION OF GRAND ISLAND INC in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Passenger Service Agent to greet travelers, handle tickets, check baggage, and assist with seating and special needs.

You will operate jet bridges, ADA ramps, and assist boarding while ensuring FAA and airport rules are followed, delivering friendly, professional service in a fast-paced airport environment. This role requires flexible shifts, strong English communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to work calmly under time constraints in a high-pressure airport environment.
• Available for varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance at all times.
• Must obtain authorization to work in the U.S. and pass security screening (SIDA badge).

Responsibilities

• Process customer tickets, check baggage, monitor carry-on size and quantity, and assign seats.
• Provide accurate information on arrivals/departures, boarding procedures, and seating.
• Handle denied boarding issues and arrange vouchers as needed.
• Ensure FAA, airline and airport regulations are followed at all times.
• Enforce safety and security in operational areas and assist passengers with special needs.
• Transport wheelchair passengers between ticket counter, gates and baggage areas.
• Operate jet bridges, ADA ramps and portable stairs for boarding and deplaning.
• Perform aircraft cabin cleaning and security checks between flights.
• Complete required training and comply with assigned duties.
