Job summary

United Ground Express is seeking a on-site Ground Service Agent at Ontario International Airport, CA. You will greet passengers, assist with check-in, rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and collect applicable fees using reservation software, ensuring accurate passenger data and on-time flights.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stamina to work an eight-hour shift, and the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting passengers and assisting with check-in and ticketing.
• Use reservation software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
• Ensure passenger data accuracy and on-time flight departures.
• Resolve passenger issues per company policies during disruptions.
• May assist in the Baggage Service Office tracking baggage and answering questions.
• Candidate should be comfortable using computers and mobile devices.
• Maintain composure while handling customer challenges.
• Read baggage and cargo tags for processing and routing.
• Prepare aircraft for the next flight and communicate with crew via radio.
• Comply with United and FAA regulations and policies.
