City of Loveland is seeking an Airport Operations and Maintenance Technician to keep the airfield, facilities, and equipment safe and mission-ready. This role supports FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542 compliance, winter operations, and emergency response while coordinating with FAA, ATC, city departments, and tenants.

The position requires an associate degree in aviation or related field and 2 years of airport operations experience, with on-site work and weekend/on-call availability.

Qualifikationen

• 2 year/Associate degree in aviation or related field.
• Preferred: 4 year/Bachelors degree in aviation or related field.
• 2 years' experience working in airport operations.

Aufgaben

• Perform daily airfield inspections per FAA Part 139 regulations and seasonal changes.
• Maintain compliance with airfield safety, operational, and security standards including TSA Part 1542.
• Respond to airfield incidents, irregular operations, tenant concerns and emergencies.
• Operate aviation radios and support 24/7 airport communications.
• Support winter operations, snow/ice control with equipment.
• Assist with airfield construction oversight for FAA/FAA compliance.
