City of Loveland is seeking an Airport Facilities & Airfield Technician (Temp) to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance for FAA Part 139 compliance and airfield safety at Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL) in Loveland, Colorado.

The role entails maintaining airfield facilities, pavements, lighting, and grounds with on-call support for 24/7 operations. Requires high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Preferred: 2-year associate degree.
• Some maintenance, construction, or equipment operation experience.
• Ability to safely operate basic tools and light machinery.
• Willingness to work in an airfield environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Carries out operational tasks and assists with maintaining airport equipment, and related equipment.
• Performs repair and maintenance of airport equipment and grounds under the direction of the supervisor.
• Provides 24/7 on-call support for operational needs, including winter snow removal on nights and weekends when assigned.
• Executes all duties safely within an active airport environment where aircraft operations are ongoing.
• Maintains airfield facilities in compliance with applicable regulations upon completion of required training.
