Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Airport Manager in Boise to oversee all airport operations, customer service, and staff responsibilities at the rental location. You will manage counter activities, shuttle operations, and budgeting support while ensuring profitable performance and satisfying customers and employees.

The role requires a BA/BS and leadership experience, with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to drive daily operations and service excellence at the Boise

Qualifications

• BA/BS - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of leadership and management experience.
• Experience in car/truck rental, human resources, training, customer service and general operations.
• Working knowledge of P&L.
• Strong decision making ability and independent judgment to establish operational plans.
• Strong analytical and math skills; review reports to determine actions.
• Excellent management skills to direct a large staff.
• Strong communication skills to convey vision and day-to-day operations to diverse audiences.
• Strong organization and administration skills for daily operations.
• Strong time-management and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to prioritize rental-related needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and results-driven orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities at an airport location related to servicing customers at the rental counter and arranging vehicle rentals and related products; prepare vehicles for next rental.
• Plan and implement staffing schedules based on business demands and oversee exempt and nonexempt personnel.
• Oversee shuttling of customers between rental counters, cars, and airline terminals.
• Ensure customer complaints are resolved timely and effectively.
• Provide statistical information related to transactions and revenue projects.
• Assist management in preparing the annual budget.
• Monitor gasoline charges currently paid and ensure cost-conscious practices.
• Implement HR policies across the location.
