Job summary

Delta Air Lines, JFK Airport Terminal 4, New York is offering an Airport Customer Service internship focused on Above and Below Wing operations, Premium customer service, onboard services, and flight operations.

Interns will participate in hands-on activity, contribute to a team-based project for leadership review, and gain exposure to multiple facets of Delta’s customer experience across 22,000 operations professionals.

Qualifications

• Solid interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle simultaneous situations and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Airport Customer Service: Above and Below Wing — support customer-facing and ramp activities to ensure safe, efficient departures and arrivals while delivering excellent customer service.
• Airport Customer Service: Premium — support high-value customers and enhance the airport travel experience; gain exposure to hospitality and guest engagement.
• Onboard Services — learn how onboard teams support flight attendants, manage catering and supplies, and ensure cabin readiness for customers.
• Flight Operations — gain insight into how pilots, dispatchers, and operational teams work together to maintain safety and on-time performance across the network.
• Ramp Operation — training in Ramp Control and Deicing Procedures; area assignments rotate with business need.
• Deicing — pre-planning and monitoring of deicing procedures; act as primary contact for coordination in the station.
