The City of Charlotte, operating CLT's Airport Operations Center, seeks a Coordinator to monitor and coordinate critical airport systems, dispatch resources for emergencies, and collaborate with airlines, FAA, and other stakeholders. You’ll issue NOTAMs, manage gate assignments, and support 24/7 operations.

Requires five years of related experience (or 3 with an associate degree) and knowledge of 14 CFR Part 139 and 49 CFR Part 1542. On-site role with shift work, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with five years of related experience, or an associate degree with three years related experience.
• Knowledge of airport operations, emergency response procedures, and applicable regulations (14 CFR Part 139, 49 CFR Part 1542).
• Proficiency with computer systems and airport operation software.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, operate, and respond to multiple airport systems, including CAD, video management, access control, safety, weather monitoring, paging, and emergency notification.
• Receive, prioritize, and process emergency and non-emergency calls; dispatch resources and maintain logs.
• Coordinate with airlines, tenants, the FAA ATCT, and other stakeholders; issue NOTAMs and manage gate assignments.
