Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking an Mobility Assistance Specialist to provide safe, courteous wheelchair support to passengers within the airport environment in Alaska. The role involves helping passengers through check-in and gate processes, and coordinating with airlines and ground teams for smooth connections.

Responsibilities include assisting with luggage, navigating the terminal and aircraft, and maintaining privacy and dignity for passengers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist transfers up to 350 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse passengers.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• English fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Must pass FBI background check, TSA STA, and obtain Alaska AOA Badge.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers requiring wheelchair support through check-in and gate areas.
• Transport passengers to and from flights within terminal and aircraft.
• Handle carry-on bags, assisted devices, and luggage with care.
• Operate mobility equipment safely per procedures.
• Coordinate with airlines, security, and ground transportation for smooth connections.
• Maintain safety and privacy of passengers at all times.
• Follow security and safety protocols in airport environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
