Job summary

Escape Lounges / Cavu in the United States is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day operations in our premium airport lounge. You will ensure world-class guest experiences, food and beverage excellence, and smooth team performance.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of hospitality or lounge management, strong leadership, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. TSA compliance, health/safety adherence, and flexibility in shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality/restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
• Working knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
• ServSafe Food Handler and BASSETT certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Eligibility to pass TSA background check and obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations: assist the General Manager in overseeing lounge operations.
• Team Leadership: supervise, coach, and inspire the lounge team toward 5-star service.
• HR & Compliance: manage scheduling, onboarding, employee relations, and regulatory compliance.
• Guest Experience: maintain a welcoming, polished environment per Escape Lounge standards.
• Inventory & Quality Control: monitor food quality, manage inventory, ensure menu adherence and cleanliness.
• Partner Collaboration: liaise with brand partners to uphold standards.
• Culture & Engagement: foster a positive, inclusive team culture focused on service, safety, and hospitality excellence.
