Job summary

CAVU's Airport Lounge in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Airport Lounge General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of one of our Escape Lounges, delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving commercial and operational performance.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead both front-of-house and kitchen teams, manage budgets, labor, inventory, and ensure safety, compliance and high hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience managing hourly staff in hospitality/retail.
• Proven track record in delivering high-end guest service.
• Experience leading large catering teams, in-house or via contracted providers.
• Strong commercial acumen with Budgets, cost-control, and profitability focus.
• Deep knowledge of hospitality P&Ls, margin management, labour deployment, inventory.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, allergen control and operational risk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of one lounge, leading from the front to deliver guest experience.
• Lead front-of-house and kitchen operations; develop a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and regulatory requirements.
• Manage EBITDA, margin, and cost-per-guest targets; oversee labour and inventory.
• Maintain relationships with airport leadership, TSA, police and suppliers.
• Drive admission conversions and beverage sales.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage performance.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance.
