Job summary

SSP America is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for an on-site role at the PHX Airport location. You will drive recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HR operations, and reporting in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll partner with airport leadership to support the full employee lifecycle, including training, audits, and processes that align with SSP America's culture and standards. This role offers growth into HR leadership tracks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of Human Resources experience including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and confidential recordkeeping.
• Strong organizational, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly recruitment, coordinate hiring with operations leaders, and onboard new hires.
• Support workplace investigations, coach managers on policy and performance matters.
• Maintain confidential personnel, medical, leave, and workers’ compensation records and support audits.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records, support payroll-related HR activities, monitor training completion, and prepare reports.
• Serve as HR partner to airport leadership, identifying process improvements and reinforcing SSP America culture.
