Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to support airport service vehicles, including refueling equipment and associated systems. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical components, ensuring safe, reliable aircraft services.

The role requires 6 months to 2 years of diesel experience, ability to work varied shifts, and a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Diesel mechanic coursework completed preferred.
6 months to 2 years of diesel mechanic experience.
Must be 18+ and possess a valid US driver’s license.
Must be eligible to work in the USA and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Able to lift/move up to 70 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles; repair gas/diesel engines and hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Perform regular quality control checks on refueling equipment and maintain maintenance records.
Provide preventative care to equipment to keep aircraft services teams operating safely and effectively.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment in line with policies and procedures.
